Coeur d'Alene (/ˌkɔːr dəˈleɪn/ i KOR də-LAYN; French: Cœur d'Alène, lit. 'Heart of an Awl' French pronunciation: ) is a city and the county seat of Kootenai County, Idaho, United States.
